This is a web resource, and the web moves. Surgeons relocate, retire, change appointments and rebuild their websites. Journals publish, correct and retract. Techniques, materials, standards of care and prices change. Everything here was true of a public page on the day we read it and may be out of date by the time you read it. This site is not canonical and nothing on it is guaranteed to be current, complete or accurate. Confirm anything that matters directly with the surgeon, the practice, the society or the journal. The doctors are the authority on their own facts; we are not.
Rankings are our opinion. The Top 50 score is our own construction from public records: publications, teaching appointments, society leadership, credentials, rhinoplasty focus and public work. It is not a measure of surgical skill, safety or outcome, and it is not a certification, accreditation, endorsement or referral. A surgeon's absence from it means nothing about that surgeon. We are independent and unaffiliated. We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, employed by or acting as an agent for any surgeon, practice, hospital, society or journal named here. Listing is editorial and cannot be bought. Sponsor placements are paid, labeled as sponsored, and never appear inside a ranking, a score or an editorial page's judgement.
Everything is credited and linked to its source. Every claim, quote, figure and date links to the material it came from. Papers link to the journal or PubMed record; quotes link to the page they were taken from; images and galleries link to the practice or outlet that published them. Videos are played through YouTube's own embed and stream from YouTube. We host no video and claim no rights in it; every embed credits and links to the channel that uploaded it. All names, marks, papers, images and video remain the property of their authors, publishers and owners, and appear here as attributed reference. We do not control or endorse anything on a page we link to.
